can i take the tom tom one xl, in the forrest on trails and map my rout and stuff to not get lost I like the TomTom One (and XL) and both can be used for hiking. To use this unit for dynamically locating your lat/long, tap the screen and select the "help me" icon...then select the "Where Am I?" icon. To walk to a lat/long location you can tap the screen, select "Navigate to..." and scroll to "Latitude Longitude". The battery will last for a couple hours.
