on a map, the length of a nature-center trail is 11.7 centimeters. if the scale is 2 centeminters to 25 kilometers, what is the actual length of the trail? 146.25 km I will not be there when you take your test. Hope you don't do all your homework this way. 1. 2 cm = 25 km 2. 1 cm = 25/2 km = 12.5 km 3. 11.7 cm = 12.5 x 11.7 km = 146.25 km On Calculator 11.7 x 25 / 2 = 146.25 See example in book. |
