Why people are scared? |
Willys cynical thought for the fugging day; Everyone has the right to be stupid, but you are abusing the freaking privilege! Why people are scared (No joke) I strongly believe that a tremendous force that has increased apathy has been the American Federal Government taking great strides of removing rights and liberties have left people in a mindset of "Leave me alone." People are worn down and worn out. This has left them vulnerable to all the continuing assaults on everything. They are tired of the government meddling in everything. They are tired of paying 50% of their paycheck in various taxes. They are tired of increased police powers and most of all they are scared. They are scared of the police, politicians, the president and his staff. They are scared of the court systems. They are scared of sexual predators. They are scared of becoming a multi-lingual country. They are scared of the new immigrants bringing disease and pestilence and a new form of government. A government agency is likely one of the biggest employers of illegal immigrants in the state of California The Mexican government publishes books, pamphlets and other materials detailing how to illegally cross the border, where the best trails are and even gives maps showing water sources and the best cell phone coverage. Over 40 tunnels have been found crossing under the U.S./Mexican border, since Sept. 11, 2001. Many had lighting, ventilation and concrete floors and cost hundred of thousands of dollars to build. Studies show that there has never been a guest-worker plan that has worked Hot button issue: Grass-roots activists -- in Massachusetts! -- orchestrated. the defeat of a bill that would have given college tuition to illegal immigrants. The top ten worst (and best) senators when it comes to illegal immigration reform. Exposed: Widespread fraud by companies who file false W-2s for their (presumably) illegal immigrant workers -- and the IRS refuses to investigate or prosecute. Suspected al Qaeda members have been arrested trying to enter the U.S. from the Mexican border. They are scared of governmental protection of people who desecrate the flag while protected by the police. They are scared of losing their jobs to foreign countries. They are scared of censorship. They are scared of carrying a gun or being without one. They are scared of John McCain type politics and bills introduced by him to change the country. These fears have terrorized our country and left people saying, "Leave me alone." People even refuse to be activists out of fear. People are afraid of tyranny and rightfully so. No longer is there recourse or recompense for these actions by the government. Is your position now to be spineless? Let me define that term for you. 1. Having no spines or quills. 2. Having no spine or backbone. 3. Having a weak spine; limp. 4. Without moral force, resolution, or courage; feeble: a spineless, lily-livered coward Dressing up in a leather costume will not give you a spine. Patches and pins will not give you a spine. Wearing a government mandated helmet will not give you a spine. WITHOUT ACTIVISM, MEMBERSHIP IN ANYTHING WILL NOT GIVE YOU A SPINE. What are your suggestions? What are you doing about it? If you are doing nothing and apathetic/spineless then sit down and shut up and write a check to somebody that is doing something about it. http://www.total-knowledge.com/~willyblu... i agree. i have never seen hard times like we have now, congress is spending our money like water. and will do anything for the mexican vote ? what vote ? they are illegal !! taxes are killing us while the illegals dont pay any ! deport them all. some say we cannot deport 20 million mexicans. why not ? mexico did. when is the united states going to close the border ? we need to land mine it, put in a moat. snipers. anything to keep the mexicans and everyone else out. i think everyone should stand up for america, before our government gives her away. i've called my congress man, and joined the MM project, build the fence ! press #1 for ''no'' amnesty, no schools for illegals, give them nothing. i work everyday, and theres times i have to choose? pay a bill ? or eat ? i dont get free health care. and im a ''legal'' american. it's time the americans take back their own country. and yes....it is OUR'S !!! You have got to be kidding. Our standard of living in this country is one of the best in the world. I sit on my lazy fat *** everyday at work and get paid good money - enough to clothe, shelter and feed my family. The government is doing a damn good job. You are a bit spoiled and have been brainwashed into thinking the government is your enemy. This isn't communist China, pal. Go live with the commies for awhile and then come back and kiss the ground of this Country. Just because we have some problems does not mean those problems are terrible. well, i couldn't be bothered to read this whole thing, but i skimmed for the immigration part, because that's the category. i just want to clarify that the mexican government distributes information about how to cross the border SAFELY. recognizing that people are going to cross illegally whether the government likes it or not, and seeing that people were dying from the circumstances of such crossing, AND having a modicum of compassion, they decided to distribute information on how to not die while crossing through the desert. this is a complicated issue for everyone, including the mexican government. and as for fear of immigrants bringing a new government, i would argue that people are actually afraid of immigrants bringing cultural changes. but i agree with your main point. if you hate illegal immigrants so much, quit whining. get off your *** and take action. here's me being scared that you might actually do so - * y a w n * and john, please, over and over again. please google "illegal immigrants pay taxes?" and do a little starter reading. this will shed some light on the inaccuracies of your statements. ok this is to much post to read but i get your meaning .i'm not afraid Read your headline, the bogie man isn't real! lol Wow!
