I am looking for a gps that I can use for travel in the car and take it out on the atv trails and use the coordinates on the maps to help myself navigate through the trails. I have seen the army commercials and that stuff but I dont know what to get. I need to be able to look at a map and then look at the gps and know which way to go according to my location. I hope that I am being clear enough as to my needs. I have looked on ebay and i have done yahoo searches but I am not finding the right sites I guess. Thank you in advance.
I would suggest a Garmin. They are simple to use and have many upgrades available via software download. Go to Bestbuy or CircuitCity and just see which one you like best. Good luck in your search
It sounds like what you want is a pretty expesnive piece of kit, considering most gps devices are either coordinates or map, but I suggest looking for a website that seells walking/camping things, they're likely to have what you're looking for.
