What is the process I can expect to go through to get a motorcycle with a salvage title street legal in WI?

I am waiting to recieve the title in the mail and was told it would take 5 to 6 weeks. It has almost been six weeks. Does this sound right?

I bought the bike @ Tousley motors in MN and the dealer said it had a salvage title that would get sent to me in the mail. The guy who had it before me crashed it and ruined all of the fairings, so it recieved a salvage title for MN. I fixed the bike up this winter and it runs perfectly and has no mechanical or other problems. I live in Wisconsin.

Once I have the title in my hands, what is the process that I will have to go through at the DMV? (like an inspection or something?) What is it going to cost me? How long will it take?

You can learn the contact information by looking you your telephone book under "State of Wisconsin". If that doesn't provide you at least a telephone number, contact your local police or sheriff department. They can tell you how to contact the STate.
