Hey what's up with Aprilia's V4 engine?

I am really liking the new RSV4 but I keep hearing some different things about it.

I heard that Aprilia WAS so post to use the v4 as a replacement engine to their old twin.

But I also heard that they are only going to make enough of them so that they can use it as a race bike.

I still haven鈥檛 seen a street version of it and no one has a clue of how much it is going to be.

Can you also rate Aprilia's on average reliability 1 being a Harley and 10 being Japanese status.

10 is the best and 1 is the worst.

motorcyclist magazine just reported that aprilia will release the v4 street version late in 08. aprilias are usually a bit cheaper than ducatis, but then cheap for one might be to expensive for the other.the v4 ducati costs about 70,000 plus. so the aprilia might be say 40 to 50. we shall soon see. and the magazines i have read don't complain about thier reliability, so i guess it must be good.

Which end of your 1 - 10 scale is the top?

Edit: shoulda expected that from a 250cc guy.
Probably still think they leak too.
I keep wondering how anyone can be so behind the times they believe stuff that changed before they were born.
