I suck at driving...?

ok i think i should get on tv for canada's worst driver or something lol.. i just got my Learners license and i went driving for an hour.. it was pretty scary lol.. i almost hit 32315.32 cars and almost hit cars on the right side lol..... dude driving is scary.. i had to like go out on a real street street and there were cars there and it was like super scary lol... i was so nervous and stuff.. driving is so hard lol... when my dad drives, hes like half asleep and driving way better than me. Hes like born to drive, he like swerves around and stuff, hes like a stunt driver lol........ for him, driving is like walking, its completely natural..

when you drive for a long time, does driving get easier and 'natural'? does it get really easy like after learning how to ride a bike?

The more experience you get driving, the better you become. It's scary at first, you are operating a machine! Try and remain calm, Here's some tips: Don't look down at the road, look out/forward. Pretend you are the only one on the road who knows how to drive(once you get a little better :) ) That way you are always aware of what others are doing on the road.Try practicing in areas where there are no cars, then graduate to not so busy streets. Then take it to the Blvd. Then to the freeway. You will get it, or you'll be one of those drivers I'm shaking my head at all the time. GOOD LUCK!!!

i was like that at first to, you will get better trust me. it doesn't take long to catch on.

yes driving does get easier and more natural with the more you drive and it wont be quite so scary but just remember just b/c its starting to feel natural doesn't mean there are still crazies out on the road

It's easier, never natural, but instinctive. Trust me, after I got my Probation Licence, I never dared to drive a car, for I was afraid of making mistakes. Things changed after I left my hometown for the Capital City of Kuala Lumpur. I was influenced by the "dare to take up challenge" habit. Now I not just can drive, but also repair cars! Cool, isn't it?

It takes practice, and even then you can be the best driver and still be in an accident because of other careless drivers. Being nervous and overreactive can cause accidents as well!

don't worry, you didn't read moby dick the first time you learned how to read. it will come with time and experience. just practice in the neighborhood until you're real comfortable and then start going out on "real" streets when there isn't a lot of traffic. it's easier to be out on the main roads when you're first learning to drive when there aren't as many cars on the road. just keep driving, it will come. good luck!

Yep it does get easier as you do it more. I used to be afraid to look to the side for even a second. Now I can drive blindfolded!
