Where can i get Cheap street bike insurance for first time riders?

I just bought my bf a bike a i want to get insurance for it, but i'm not sure where to get insurance from all i want is that little card that says i'm covered. i don't think i want full coverage. We live in California i don't know of that changes anything.

If your car insurance company can't give you a good rate, try State Farm. They let you insure the bike without health coverage so it is MUCH cheaper! Only do this if you have a good health insurance plan!! I am paying $35 a month for my 07 GSX-R 600.

Progressive. Easy to get and inexpensive.

Geico or Progressive.

I have the little card from Progressive -- minimum legal (in California) for me is $75/year. I'd get a slightly lower price if I took the Motorcycle Safety Foundation course.

If you're financing the bike, that isn't an option. You'll need full coverage :(

Progressive. I've checked several and they're the only ones that are at least half way reasonable.

I'd recomend GEICO for bikes good price! and service too! get the tow package for if you break down!
