What is a good street bike or naked bike that is the easiest/cheapest to maintain? Maybe a bandit 600 or 1200? i have 2000 sv650. all i do is put gas, change oil once a year and lube chain....it keep going and going. U.J.M Universal Japanese Motorcycle, anything that has the least plastic bodywork, a Naked Motorcycle. If you are going to be riding freeways don't get a naked bike as it sucks on the highway due to no fairings to help slice through the wind...but that being said the best low cost naked bike is obviously the Suzuki sv. I'm a fan of the Universal Japanese Motorcycle, but few exist anymore...they're all converting to this plastic fad...ugh. Find yourself an older bike, like the Kawasaki Zephyr 550 or 750, or Yamaha Radian. with low miles. Bulletproof engine, disc brakes front and rear, fast comfy and cheap to insure. bandits are trash bins on wheeles, don't buy one, you'll regret it! |
