Can I turn my 99/honda400R dirt in to a street legal bike,If so where cane I find what I need to do the job?

I have a title for the bike. I looked up pa dmv , but really could not find what I need to know. Can anyone else help me

a lot will depend on your location and local laws dealing with converting an "off-road only" to being street legal...

http://www.texasoffroad.net/forum_php/po... is a link to a forum dealing with dual sport bikes and also converting an "off-road only" bike over to street legal... this is per the Texas laws / rules ... so you will need to check with your local authorities / DMV...

hopefully, you have a title for your bike??? that is sometimes the biggest PITA about the conversion!!!!

first you need to call your local dmv and ask
them if you are allowed to convert a dirt bike
to street legal status. we used to be able to do it here in california but not anymore.
