When i go to turn of my chocker on my street bike (yamaha 600r 00) the whole bike tunrs off .What should i do

Its a yamaha 600r 00 street bike . Im not sure if it is called a chocker but i guess it helps the bike warm up . when i move it even a little my bikes ideal starts to drop till it turns off. i cant even make it half way and it turns off. Is there a certain way your suppose to tune it ? is it a internal problem?

Choke, It's a choke damn it.
Your problem might be solved by adjusting your idle screw(s).
They're on the side of the carb and usually have an exterior spring on them, clockwise or in adjustments will increase the idle speed.
It's also possible that you have a clogged jet(s) ,if so the carb(s) need to be cleaned.
If you are lucky you might get away running carb cleaner through the carb, or you may have to open up the carb and remove the jets to clean them.
***** Also, be sure your air filter is clean, if it dirty ,this can also interfere with idle.

its a choke. let the bike warm up longer, gas it while yo re in neutral. check the idle screws

I like Ryde On's explanation

I would, however, try to pull the choke out before starting the bike and then see well it works. Does the bike run without messing with the choke? My bike turns off after a few seconds if it is cold (been sitting for a long time, such as most of a day) and I must pull the choke right after starting or or start the bike with the choke out.

As Ryde On stated, I would go through the simple motions to clean the bike (carb cleaner, maybe even some fuel system cleaner for carb'd bikes), check that air cleaner, etc. If you don't know what you're doing, take it to a mechanic you can trust before you start fooling around with the carb/fuel system and lines.

WTF is a choker?
