Riding a dirt bike on the streets in maryland?

I have a suzuki DS 100, 99cc, dual sport dirt bike. its got a head light, and i think a brake light, i could be wrong.
i was wondering if it would be alright for me to ride it on the street. would i need a motorcycle license, or just a car license?and would i need to have it registered..
ive ridden it in the power line clearings (BGE Property) , and all the times ive been caught, the cops just say pack it up, or say keep going and have fun with it, they think its better to be riding than selling drugs lol. but i dont know what will happen if i ride it on the streets.

If the bike can be registered (and I believe that bike did come with lights so it was considered a dirt /street bike, you can ride it on the street.

You will need a class M endorsement on your license (motorcycle) and the bike will have to have tags and be insured!

You do not say what year the bike is, but it should be eligible for historic tags (no inspection)

You will have to title the bike, if you have not done so, before you can get tags!

Be careful on BGE property. If BGE catches you they will press charges!

Technically you need a registered, insured bike and an "m" license. If you get all that it will cost you a couple hundred bucks but you can go wherever you want. I'm pretty sure you can register that bike for the road. Good luck and have fun.

i think you should save your money and wait till you have a bigger newer bike then put money in that try a 600 to 750 then worry about a kit i dont think they even make them for bikes that small
