Can you get a parking ticket for parking in the bike lane?

I got a parking ticket for parking in the bike lane across the street from my house. I'm like "WTF?!" because I thought you can park in the bike lane. There was no "No Parking" sign up anywhere. So what do I do? Is it legal to park in the bike lane? I'm confused. Gosh, I have to pay $35.

Is the bike supposed to ride THROUGH your car?? Of course you can't. There's no sign that says don't park in the vehicle lane of a road but you know not to do that right? Common sense. At least its not that much...anyway now you know.
