Is it illegal to ride a dirt bike in florida?...?

I WAS WONDERING IF IT IS ILLEGAL TO RIDE A DIRT BIKE ON THE STREETS IN FLORIDA, I LIVE IN FORT MYERS AND I SEE ALOT OF PEOPLE RIDING THEM ON THE STREETS OUT HERE, AND WAS JUST WONDERING IF THE COPS SEE YOU CAN THEY CHASE, AND PURSUE YOU?...

unless its street legal its illegal meaning it must have headlights and turn signals. Also even if it is street legal in the state of florida you have to have a motorcycle endorsement to legally ride any type of motorcycle on the streets.

Bikes must be streetable and licenced, you know this so why ask? Better yet why ask about motorcyles in the bicycling section?
