Can I legally knock a person off their bicycle if they don't stop for me while I'm in a crosswalk?


Let's say I'm crossing the street in the crosswalk and nearly get nailed by a cyclist. Can I stiff arm them off their bicycle?

No, it would be called assault.
You must always give person's crossing at a cross walk the right of way.
Do it discretely by making it look as if they ran into you.
If you are caught doing this knowingly they can then press assault charges on you.
People arent sposed to ride their bikes across a street, anyway. They are supposed to get off and walk the bike across. They're also supposed to ride on the road, not the sidewalk.
No, not any more than a driver can run down a person who is jaywalking.
