Would I get in trouble? |
This happened a while ago, but I was just wondering. A couple of my friends and I were hanging out in my room, and saw the neighborhood jerk cutting someone's grass for some money. We thought it'd be hilarious if we shot him through a small window crack with a pellet gun, (and in fact was HILARIOUS) he saw us somehow, walked across the street and took a bike that belonged to my friend and took it back to his work area. Eventually we went outside and got the bike back. I want to know, if he were to call the police or something, what would happen? If he were to tell the PO that he has suspicions that we shot him, and so on, what would happen? Also, if we were to play dumb and tell the PO that the guy just took the bicycle out of the blue, what's that going to be like? Firstly, how old are you? If you're under age, its fine-if he calls the cops you can all say you're terribly sorry you were bored and know him as the neighboorhood jerk and thought it'd be funny, you'll never do it again bla bla bla. The most the police will prob do is reprimand you or tell your parents. If you're over age, he can prob charge you with assault, but I'm not 100% sure of that. I doubt whether the guy would call the cops though, unless he's really petty or (if he's young) just a wimp. If he's a neighboorhood bully/jerk I doubt he will do anything becasue it would show him up as a wimp to much. I'm not too sure what the situation is here as you didn't specify ages(which is v important). So given that info thats what I have to say. Hope it helped. Sounds like the neighborhood jerk was the one doing the shooting. If he had a mark on him, the cop could have arrested you for wanton endangerment whether you played dumb or not. He was cutting somebody Else's grass. This was illegal. He took your friends, that was illegal... Remember, thieves and cheaters do not like police and will never go to them So, be rest assured. Even if by fluke, he goes, and says that you shot him, it was no wrong. You were just stopping him from committing a crime. So you were right. You are playing with fire by shooting neighbour with pellet gun,what do you want ? To get into serious trouble or something ,maybe time to grow up me thinks 鈾? take them about 30 seconds to put you in the car, and off to jail........ i would not be worried about him calling the police. i would worry about him kicking your rear when he catches you alone.you just do not sound very brite |
