Can you ride a pocket bike on the street?


Is it illegal to ride a pocket bike on a public street in BC? It is gas powered.

It IS illegal.

According to RCMP they are NOT legal to drive on public streets..

"Police continue to respond to complaints about unlicensed dirt bikes and pocket bikes on city streets. These machines are not street legal at any time. The driver is liable to a $600.00 no insurance fine and seizure of the motorcycle. You can once you make it street legal! reflector, turn signals, head light brake light, Speedometer and then tag it. All states requires these things.

You can ride it just about anywhere, problem is you will get ticketed and possibly have it confiscated as its not street legal
