Honda V65? Still fastest bike? |
that is ridden sitting up? My friend says even though its 25 years old, its still the fastest motorcycle crusier on the street, one that is not a crotch rocket. True? Is anyone building a fast well handing bike that you can ride sitting up? Suzuki makes a nice "standard" 1250s Bandit. It has an aero 1/2 fairing and looks great. Plus it has a regular handlebar on risers so that you can ride it sitting in a comfortable upright seating position. I personally ride an older (2003) Bandit 1200s which I love. It handles great and has plenty of power without the need to really wind up the motor. Real reasonable price too! Source(s): http://www.suzukicycles.com/products/gsf... not true never was way slower than even a Harley sportster for example plenty of others can spank it Yamaha V-Max Suzuki M109. A honda 919 is a great choice. Pretty sure V65 Magna will have to bow to V-Max. Honda's own VTX1800 comes to mind as well. I won't SWEAR to it but I have a feeling Yamaha's Warrior is pretty perky too, and has a reputation for decent handling, at least as much as a cruiser can be said to handle. I would think that Suzuki's M109 would give it a run for it's money, and all but certain that Triumph's Rocket III would spank it like a stepchild, what with having over twice the displacement. As for fast uprights with GOOD handling [not cruisers] try these: FZ1 (Yamaha), Bandit 1250 (Suzuki), ST1300 (Honda), R1200ST (BMW) |
