What is a good brand of Mnt Bike for under $400?


I need to find an all around bike for my wife. She wants front suspension for light trail riding, but will ride the streets a lot as well. I don't want to by a bad brand from Target or something, what can I get that is good quality, but still a good price?

Scott Contessa bikes are specifically women's bikes and should suit your wife perfectly. I agree that Trek and Specialized are also good brands along with GT and Giant.
Get A TREK MTN Bike. They are really good! Your wife would like it and they have what she's looking for.
go to your local bike shop and talk to them about what you want
Get Specialized, they have really good bikes.
I have one, except its $500, I am sure you can find plenty under $400 that are still great.
