I'm thinking about test-riding my boyfriend's motorcycle for the first time. Should I? |
He's out of town for a week and told me to start his bike every two days. I want to surprise him by picking him up at the airport on his bike. What is the first thing I should when I sit on a bike? Don't worry.. I'm a quick learner. He has a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14 street bike. Two choices. Both involve a visit to the hospital. Prior to trying to ride your bf's bike: voluntarily check yourself into your local hospital, floor 13 (psychiatric ward). After attempting to ride your bf's bike (Option A): You crash. Become road rash. EMT's deliver your badly bruised body to the hospital (if lucky) or morgue (not so lucky). After attempting to ride your bf's bike (Option B): You survive long enough to surprise your bf by picking him up at the airport on his bike. He promptly shoots you! EMT's deliver your badly bleeding body to the hospital (if lucky) or morgue (not so lucky). For your own good, I really do hope your are a "quick learner" ... if you get my drift! it doesnt matter if your a quick learner, its called experience. and you dont want to try it on a bike that big in airport traffic. i ride take some quality advice, DO NOT do this. If your man is as protective of his bike as most men, it will backfire in your face. IF you were already a good rider, then perhaps he would get over the fact you brought it to him, but in my opinion, he would flip if you dumped his bike learning to surprise him. I won't let my old man on my bike and I would never dream of riding his "other woman" It is a nice thing you want to surprise him, but this is not the way, take a motorcycle lesson to get the basics and ask him to help you the rest of the way. It does'nt mater if your quick learner or not that bike is the most powerful bike on the planet it has about 170 horses thats way to much for a beginner,so the answer is no it's just a motorized bycicle. Whats the worst that could happen? If you wreck it just stash it somewhere and tell him someone stole it. How long have you had your motorcycle license? That's the wrong bike to learn on. Nice idea, but don't do it. Seriously. |
