Anyone know on the best way to ride a wheelie on a 2006 yamaha r6 (not a r6s) I'm new at this.? |
this is my first street bike, ive had dirt bikes and i still own a 2005 yamaha raptor 660 quad. and riding wheelies on it is no problem. but from what ive heard and researched on is that the 2006 yamaha r6 (not r6s) is verry diffirent from any bike cause its the first of its kind. i tried bouncing it to get the front wheel of the ground and no luck but i did dump the clutch and it came up but the rpm was verry high. any help would be awsome You should stick to dirt bikes. You have no idea of what your doing! It's like Yoda said " Do or don't do! There is no try!" One tire on the ground (preferably the back one) and one in the air. Start out in second gear and clutch it up! Good Luck! by a video game. Leave it on the ground. (try bungie jumping or skydiving, at least those are legal.) i had a friend broke his arm and collar bone and did a wheelie on a bike and a motor cycle! uh-oh! you dont know how much power your sitting on! it's pretty dangerous! DONT DO IT PLZ! Before you go any further, find out where your oil pump is located. If the pickup is at the front of the pan, you can starve your engine, and that will ruin your day. If the revs are too high, try going up one gear before you lift the front end. your going too slow so when front end comes up your not in powerband and it drops again. probably need to be doing about 50mph in third, drop into second and gas it . when you recover, go back and pick up all the pieces. (at least its not as bad as Kawasaki GPZ750 turbo, wouldnt wheelie much below 120, boost too low and front too heavy) |
