Im a short guy and i need to know? |
Im 5'7 and 120 lbs....i need a somewhat light bike but what street bike has the lowest seat level? I definately wouldn't say your short but DAMN man eat a cheeseburger or 2 for gods sake...Also I would recommend the Honda rebel as a great light and low bike. They come in 450 and 250 and both are great starter bikes. Good Luck .... whered the heck do u live!? ur not short, average rly and a bit underweight. 5'7'' and 142-175 pounds is normal... This site is for the weights of various bikes: http://www.sportrider.com/bikes/146_weig... This one lets you search for a bike by brand and/or seat hieght: http://www.motorcycle.com/mo/mcdbase/mcd... Happy riding. I had an 85 Suzuki Intruder. Very low. 26 or 27 maybe. Only 450 plbs. I am 5'5" and 150lbs. I could pick it up no problem. I think my inseam is 32" though. Now I have an 04 V-Star. It is 550 lbs. Feels like the same height. Most cruisers now are pretty low, I don't think you will have a problem. Except maybe for Goldwings and Victories. Prob some Harleys. unfortunately most of the short bikes are cruisers of small displacement. the Honda rebel 250, the Suzuki savage 650 single. check out some magazines and websites for the major companies will list seat heights. the best thing to do is go to a dealership and ask if you can sit on some of the bikes. don't wear anything with a zipper on the front though. unless you have really short legs, you're actually not that short Harley Davidson FXR (Lowrider) Honda Rebel has the lowest seat height in the USA. Remember that about all bikes can be lowered |
