07 hd street bob, how to issues, please dont just tell me what you have, especialy if its not even a dyna?

Howdy once again. currently deployed and looking at spending my hard earned cash on my bike. really want to slap on a red metal flake solo seat + the pillion by lepera. question is hows that going to work/does anybody make an adapter or am i going to have to fab it myself? also looking for some good very simplistic looking forward controls, want'em black and none too pricey, ideas on that one/where to find'em? never done an install for forward controls, how hard will that be/any hints or tips. trying to get every thing planned out now so i can put it all togather during my post deployment leave.

Seat: if they advertise it for your model, it will fit. If any brackets are needed they will be provided.
Forward controls: I have not seen them in black. You could possibly have them black chromed at a shop. Installation is simple. They usually come as a kit. Make sure you get the right one for your bike, so that you have all the correct plugs for the holes that are left in the primary. Or drop the extra dough on a new primary case. For a few decent ideas, try jpcycles.com or vtwinmfg.com. Good luck on the deployment, come back safe.

I won't tell you what I have. You must guess. Source(s): Of course I read it. Don't expect me to criticize, unless I feel like it. I'm not the kindergarten nanny.

i can only help by saying that the forward controls are fairly easy to put on, when following directions that come with them, it shouldn't take too long, and we got ours straight from the Harley Dealer, so I would say start there. as for the seats, I'm sorry to say i can't really help there.

Forward controls are not too diffecult to install, simple unbolt/bolt on (remove & replace).
I think I remeber you. You don't take good advice. I'm gonna clue you in here, look at my avatar pic. I'm on a '99 Dyna Wide. The FXDWG.

Keep the pill. You can carry groceries on it. A solo seat is a sign of anti-socialism. (Yeah, I want a gunfighter. I can't afford the tickets.) And you mean Le Pera, not lepera. Get it right. I have a "Mustang" on my scoot. Much more comfy than a fancy looking seat.

You won't need an "adapter" for a seat made to fit your bike. If you didn't get forards on a street bob, you got ripped off. I'm beginning to think you are a little off the track. If you need a look at a real bike, check my 360 site, I have all my bike pictures there, including when I rode Jap.

Firecracker, if you are reading this I'm sorry I went hard on the guy.
Just a few miles in the saddle. One with a pill,
