Is it wrong to have a dog pull a 250 lb man on a bike not pedaling 3times full speed around the block daily? |
i think 3 times a week while hes pedaling the dog should pace and stay by owners side.he should warm up and down start and finish this is done in the street. APBT's are such high energy dogs, that it is probably a great idea! Just make sure he is on a leash and properly restrained. Make sure he is walked to cool down, and if it is really hot outside, I would wait until it was cooler. These dogs can pull a tremendous amount of weight. Is it wrong to have a young kid pull a 250 lb man on a bike not pedaling 3times full speed around the block daily? Maybe not wrong but definitly lazy! Bad news, you may sit in judgment and the man may be very lazy, but I bet the dog is healthy. Some breed of dogs were bred to pull twice that weight over long distances. However, if he is using a neck collar instead of a harness that is certainly not fair to the dog. If the man is 250 lbs. he may want to consider a diet and exercise plan for himself. Oh My God!!!! How could someone be so cruel??? I bet this person is taring this dog to fight! Please turn this foul person in for this type of cruelty! This dog will do anything for it's owner, and yet, this dog will become injured, joints in the legs, spinal and neck injuries just like people, this is real bad. Shoot the owner!!!!! Not really, but I would like to or push his fat dumb cruel butt Right off the bike and into the street in front of a semi! Call the police when you see this as well as the humane society as well as the animal control. Police may get there sooner depending on where you live, video tape this so the dog can be taken away from this lazy cruel idiot! Wrong only if dog is a poodle or other toy breed. But defineately foolish with any other breed. While dogs pulling you'd have very limited control of where the dog takes you. Dog sees a cat or squirrel how would you keep him on track? He'll pull bike into curb,or other obstacle he will easily clear but wreck the bike. You'll be lying on the ground bloodied and he'll be dragging the bike behind him. If you can get the dog to run next to you on bike that's a much safer place for him and you to be.Full run 3 times around the block would probably be enough for a Bull-Mastiff or an Irish Wolfhound as long as block is'nt too large and he went around once as a warm-up and once as a cool down. But then again a dog that large you could ride and not worry about the bike. |
