Which one is good?

Hey, I got a question on sport bikes....some of you may call them "crotch rockets". I want to know what street/sport bike is a good one to start out with. I am thinking about a Kawasaki Ninja, or an Aprilia Factory. But I want some other opinions. I do not want a bike that has too much power, just a medium power (200-600cc) bike that has great peformance a decent price and is a good bike. Eventually I am gonna buy a Suzuki Hayabusa in a few years...but before I get the fastest production bike in the world I think I will ride a slower bike first. I DO NOT WANT TOURING BIKES OR HARLEYS.......JUST IMPORT SPORT BIKES!!!!! Thanx for answering!!

Mate,
you don't want a bike that has too much power... well a six hundred cc can have enough to power a small car well over a hundred clicks..
a yammy 250 two stroke can pull the skin off your cheeks under acceleration.
I'd go for a 125 if your starting out... honda have just produced a new 125rr for only 4 grand au.
Mate... learn to ride first on the lightest bike you can get hold of, they hold the road better and stop faster than a heavier bike and you hurt yourself less when you fall off em... and can drag em home easier when you crash because they are light.. and ride with the attitude that every car driver is out to get you..... never pass on the left if in a right hand drive country, that's suicide waiting to happen, I even see what I would call experienced riders doing that nowdays... pretty lame brained is all I can say, just remember any car can pull over to the kerb with no warning in a line of traffic... never go between kerb and car.
The riding lesson is free... Source(s): Fourty years...
seems like you already know what you want dont let us tell you and change your mind
I have a 06 Busa, and I started with a GSXR750
I added a strech nos and polish , then traded for the busa.

well it really depends on your skill level if you already know how to ride any of the 600's would be great , they are all about the same as far as power to weight ratio. The suzuki and yamha's in my opion are the best. If you dont know how to ride I would go with a cheap, used 500 because your probaly gonna wreck a few times
another squid destined for the graveyard. have fun doin the asphalt surfin.
