Honda 250 cc?? |
i have been trying to look for a sport bike from honda in the 250 cc range! i know they exist but are they still being produced by the company? I am looking for the street sports bike(crotch rockets)!! Honda Australia currently make the VTR250 (bloody good learner bike, pricey though), the new CBF200 (budget bike, but doesn't look too bad) or the CBR125R (125cc four stroke, but freakin light and freakin cheap) Older learner legal Hondas in Australia include the NSR150 (two-stroke) and a bunch of other bikes which either weren't sold in Australia or were sold in very small numbers so that most or all of them are grey imports. VT250 Spada, CBR250R and CBR250RR, and a handful of rarer specimens like the Bros 400. If you're in NSW, check the Learner Approved Motorcyles (LAM) list on the RTA's website and don't forget that you can now go up to 650cc so long as it produces less than 150kW/tonne. Thats awfully small and quite underpowered. You made to do a lot of searching, but they are around. Many of the motorcycle schools use them for trainers. If you cant find one, you may want to look at a 600ish....just dont get on it if you dont want to go fast. But I ride a 1000 and although I have the power, doesnt mean I need, nor should I to use it in NYC.
