Motorcycles 125cc-250cc?

I am looking to buy my first motorcyle. Any ideas of a motorcycle from 125-250cc. I am not looking for a scooter or dirt bike. I am looking for a street legal bike.

You may want to consider something a bit larger. I bought a 500 back in May and it has plenty of power as a starter bike but the more I drive it the less powerful it feels. I'm sure by next year I will want something bigger. If you start off with a 125-250 you will be very disappointed with in a month or two.

For motorcycles within the range of 125cc to 250cc, I would recommend you to buy either a Honda, Suzuki or Yamaha
make. They are quite good and lasting and easy to maintain.
The top speed, depending on the type of model is from 100 km/hr. onwards.The bigger the cubic capacities, the faster and steadier the bikes are.
An enduro is a good choice for a first bike.
It is street legal,
hadles better than a street bike,
and can be ridden off road without tearing it up.
It has a headlight, taillight, brakelight, and sometimes turn signals.

Yes, a good motor bike for starters..one of the good choice's would be a Honda...there are few to choose from under 250 cc
i have a suzuki drz400s .. its a fourstroke, street legal bike ... you can cruise pretty comfortably at 60-70 and it will hit 100 if you need to ... its fine for around town but it still feels small for a freeway ... ive had several dual purpose bikes from a yamahaIT175 to a honda 125 fourbanger to a yamahe 225 fourstroke but i like this suzuki400 the best so far and the best thing is when the road runs out you can head off through the woods hehe... if you want a bike thats good all around for the street or highway only get one of the more "cruiser" style 650 sized street bikes.
