You have to have seen this movie to know this since I don't remember any lyrics. From what I remember, the song played at the opening scene where the older orphan girl Jesse (Pamela Adlon) was riding her bike down the street delivering newspapers. It's an "80s" song that I've only heard on the radio once in the past 10 years. It's not something that I've ever found on any 80s compliation and I'm starting to think it never even made the Top 100.
The movie was made for TV/Disney Channel. John Denver played the head of some sort of orphanage. It also starred Cindy Williams, Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler from Full House) and Jaleel White.
