Pocket bikes and cops? |
i was riding my pocket bike with a friend down a street and i saw a cop that pulled over by me and a friend. he said that your noty allowed to ride those in the streets or sidewalk. i say i rode thease for 2 year i can ride em and he said arighty but dont kill your self and he drove away why didnt he give me no warning or didnt take my bike away? you are lucky. but if you had gotten hurt then no you would have not been so lucky. you should have listened to him instead of talking back. Sounds to me like he cut you a break. 1. he wasn't sure if he was right/ 2/ He had better things to do. 3. Leftover donuts go for half price starting at 7:00 p.m. I don't know. If I would have stopped you to tell you that you weren't allowed to ride those on the streets or sidewalk, I wouldn't have said that unless it were true. Then, when you said that you intended to keep riding them, I would have taken action against you for violating the law. Perhaps it is not against the law and he was using that as an excuse to simply check you two out and see how you reacted when he pulled over. If you had been into something bad, maybe he was expecting you to make a run for it or to act suspicious. |
