What are some good summertime activities? |
Well I'm almost 14, I'm a girl and I have zero money. My mom hurt her back recently so she can't drive me aroud anywhere and my dad doesn't come home till around 5-7 pm. I have 7 fiends but only one I hang out with when not in school, the others ar either not allowed to visit people o go anywhere without their parents, busy, or on vacation. I live in a big town and there are so many pedophiles around i'm only allowed to walk up to a Rite Aid down the street. I don't have a bike and I can't rollerblade or skatebored becuse I have bad balance due to a gentic bone disease, and I break things easily. I am bad at projects mostly because I can't finish them. Since my mom hurt her back we aren't going to go on vacation (like always) so what can I do to keep myself occupied. I am so bored I actually WANT school to start again!!!!! See if there are some community centers, churches, or organizations that deal with needy children that might need your help. Sometimes there are vans or shuttles that will come and pick you up when you volunteer. Perhaps you can begin writing. Summer is a great time to let the creative juices flow and begin a writing project. Ask the neighbors of you could do their yard work or other chores for a reasonable price. Also, see if there's still time to enroll in some sports camps. Usually some colleges or organizations offer this for kids? And sometimes they provide transportation. And maybe, just maybe, you could enroll in a mentoring program and receive a big sister who could take you places and hang out with you. Good luck! Well I recommend that you just play PSP or listen at IPOD or just play your computer recently I am having a Martial arts here. Well you have the internet,you could play online games or learn something new. god, i am so sorry for you... i suggest videogames... 1. they're indoors and require no physical activity or pgysical exhaustion 2. they're addictive as hell... 3. they promote hand-eye coordination (which might be a good thing for you) either that or get Instant Messengers and a MySpace... that way you can communicate with your friends, without any of you leaving your houses... |
