My dog is not the same and im starting to wonder? |
my chihuahua always used to run with me while i ride my bike and he never had a problem keeping up and even out ran us sometimes, but now when i ride my bike he will run down the street one time and the go back to the house. he is a very entergetic dog but he has been acting strange lately. i thought it might be the heat but i dont know can someone help me? Get him spayed that could help. It is probably the heat it is harder to run when its hot outside so dogs prefer to stay inside. How old is the dog? I guess he might just be bored of doing it now. I also suggest he might be getting too old for it. It might just be that he has become the dominant one and wants you to follow him. my dog absolutely hates the heat and will want to go back inside as soon as she's done her business on hot days. this may be why your dog is avoiding being outside. try taking her out in the evening or on a cooler day and see if her behavior is different. |
