Will my Eyebrow ever grow back? |
I cut my head open a few days ago falling off my bike into the middle of a major street. I should have gotten Stiches but my parents were too cheap to get them for me. So theres a massive scar growing just above my eyebrow and theres no hair there. Will it ever go grow back? I am sorry to hear about the injury. I hope you are feeling better. I know this may not be the answer you are looking for, but probably not. Sounds as if the hair follicles were damaged. I had a similar injury to my eyebrow and the hair has not returned, I didn't have stitiches either and this happened over 25 years ago. You may get lucky if the follicles haven't been damaged and the hair may regrow but if you do not see any hair by now chances are you may not see any. Eyebrows are an extension of the skin and grows quickly, like the skin. Source(s): personal experience Hair doesn't grow on scar tissue. But your bigger problem is having parents who won't pay for stitches. Or are you, like, 32? It probably wont grow back. hahahhahahahahahahahahahaha...... would pay to see what you look like right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... Maybe you should talk to your parents about taking you to the doctors to get it checked out, if they won't find an older and trusted adult to take you. You'll regret it later if you don't and so will your parents, if they are good parents. And about the eyebrow growing back, it probably will slowly grow back over time, and that's if you are lucky. No it probably won't. However when my son fell & got stitches in his eyebrow, the hair still doesn't grow there. |
