My friend got a speeding ticket for 5 over? |
And I said that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard!! Going 45 in a 40... freakin please.. the cop had no car, bike nothin, just walked out in front of him on the street (very very stupid on his part, its a really busy street) and gave him a ticket for 5 over. I said I would have just kept goin, if he had no way to come after me then forget him!! But anyway, I told my friend to fight it, and the p***y he is said no... I'll just pay it. But my thought if you just take it into court it would be thrown out as a waste of time. What do you all think? There has to be more to the story then you are telling or maybe know. I have drove all over the U. S. and always drive 5 MPH over the speed limit. I don't even get a look from the cops, and doesn't make any differences what I am driving, sports car, sedan, pickup or motorcycle. Your friend may have been driving 10 to 15 MPH over the speed limit and the cop was nice and only wrote the ticket for 5 MPH over the speed limit. So if you don't like the answers, then next time don't ask questions that are so dumb. Note: How do you know the cop was an ahole if you weren't even there. You sure know a lot for not being there. Wish I was that smart. If you were there I can see by your remarks why there was trouble and a ticket given, so whose smart mouth caused the ticket to be given? I think there is more to the story. he was breaking the law so he should pay , welcome to america if the cop had a radar and could tell how fast he was going then he shouldnt fight it but if he was just walking then i doubt he did so yes he should fight it. but i dont know the laws where you live so do some more research on them if you want to know more. "Waste of time" isn't a valid defense. He'll lose in court. I think your right especially if the cop wasn't using a radar gun to clock him. My guess is that your friend isn't connected enough to the elite in your city/town to get away with something like that. Sad but true. |
