Kawasaki zx6r 2006 (636) OR the new 2007? |
Hi, could some one tell me the difference between those to bikes? I know the difference in terms of performance. But I am more courious: which bike is more comfortable, for longer riding (i mean: trips) I have heard that in 2006 model riding position is more "street riding" rather then "track riding". But I would like to ask someone who has one of those two bikes mentioned in the subject. Which bike would they recommend? The price difference is relatively low. (arround $900 U.S.). So that factor is not taking into consideration :-) Definitely the 636. I have a 2007 ZX6R, the bike is more geared for track, I use it as a daily commute in distance of 7 miles each way. I am a shorter rider standing 5'6" and the bike has a narrow tank wich feels very slim and grippy. Some riders notice that the pegs are too low. I've ridden the 636 and I enjoyed the street aspect of it. If it's a comfort issue, the 636 is well off for you. I bought the 07 model due to the fact that it looks awesome and the new engine kawasaki finally re-designed. Also, the 636 has great seats, a lot more comfy than the new 2007, which has a more narrow front end. Source(s): Hey for more info, hit up the forum @ kawiforums.com you'll find all the info you'll ever need and a lot more 636 riders who will give you all the info you want. the 636 is a more powerful bike so daily riding will be easier the 636 was a racebike in formula extreme so its just as racy as far as comfort they will be very close so sit on them both for a few at the dealer i would spend my money on th 636 slap a akrapovic slip on on it and it sounds good aftermarket parts will be cheaper for it as well |
