Motorcycle track in West Texas? and gear?

Is there any tracks for me to take my bike to and race or learn how? (circuit races) Just tired or riding on the street. What kind of gear do you have to have or do you not need any gear besides helmet and knee pucs? Any help I will appreciate, thanks.

where at in west texas? in midland or odessa i think they have a semi-new track called something desert raceway hmmm not sure

don't know of any in west texas...only tracks i know of are in houston, college station, and a city near dallas. sign up for a track day at one of those locations and make a weekend out of it.

gear..leather suit 1 piece or 2, gloves, boots. helmet shouldn't be more than 4 years old

you must also make a few adjustments to your bike... putting tape over headlight..removing turn signals and mirrors. take anything off that can break on the track if you go down
