I want to start mottorcross? |
i have never been on a bike but i love mottorcross i think i found someone to teach me but can i just go in street cloths or do i have to get like a helmit or something Well I'm a girl and I do motocross. My best friend wanted to start motox I say to her: "Don't Worry make practice and have fun!!!" I said to her what buy: -A good Helmet, it save your life! -A good pair of Boots, they save your legs and feet! -A good protection for your legs and your shoulder -A pair of pants -A shirt Take some lessons from stage or teacher Good Luck practice makes perfect. . you'll need a helmet, chest protector, boots for sure, possibly gloves, goggles and heavy pants w/hip pads and definetly a long sleeve shirt.. good luck! go with your dream! You need a bike, helmet, goggles, gloves, boots, elbow pads, knee pads, long sleeve shirt, chest protector, pants with hip protection and reinforced knees and bum... and a track to learn. And it's MOTOCROSS... Just so your not saying the wrong thing. You are gonna need to either borrow some equipment like a helmet, boots and a chest-protector, or you are gonna have to buy them, they can be a little pricey, but it is way worth it. most definitely get good gear. This is vital. Take it from a girl whose boyfriend just suffered a head injury. A good helmet saved him along with the rest of his gear. Find a private track to practice on. IMO, I trust private tracks a little more because it's taken care of and they have people there in the event of an accident. Never ride alone! Other than that, I say go for it! I've been around the motocross lifestyle for 6 years (it's not just a hobby, it is a whole lifetsyle) and really enjoy it. |
