OUR planet.? |
did anyone else see LIVE EARTH.. did anyone else think it was Rubbish.. completely missed the message, if there really was one for me.. they cut of two good debates to go to the bands... which dont get me wrong i love music and some of the bands were cool, but its either about saving OUR planet or it isnt... ANYWAY - is it true? do we need to do something drastic.. what can we do, without the support (direction) of government, BIG business, and the controllers... cos the man in the street acts within his limitations... will we explode? die out i like to do my bit... i save energy, i recycle, i use a bike when i can, i car share when possible, i buy organic and local produce, i grow some stuff in my garden, i dont waste, and so on.. BUT i know so many that dont.. cant be bothered.. etc and how do we, unless its enforced get the rest to tag along.. i am not a hippy, but thats the kind of stigma still has a little if you look after the planet... comments ? Our Earth is Beautiful and is worth saving regardless of any concert. I heard some clap music (an R should be in place of the L) No didn't watch it. I look about at all I see in wonder at nature鈥檚 diversity. The tiny ant the graceful bird the majesty of trees. When seeing I鈥檓 reminded that we are part of these. We view this world as ours, to plunder and pollute, exploiting it鈥檚 resources with very little thought. A Jewel in the cosmos, given a life gift from its star, driving Mother Nature鈥檚 engine bathed with light from afar. Our world created all life including humanity, but know that if mistreated it may take life from thee. Someday mankind may be replaced with another animal or race Inheriting our legacy, an exhausted lifeless very dirty place. JH Hunt 2007 ==============================...
