Do you think a 6-7" man is too big for a ninja 6r?

if so please list a bike that woild fit better. im used to riding supermoto and trails on a suzuki drz 480, and am trying to get into street riding.

I'm only 6'1 and I think a 600 would be a bit small for you on the street. On the track the 600s are the best. I ride an R6 on the track and a liter bike.

If you are mature and can control your hormones you can get a liter bike. (It depends on your personality) Just take the time to get used to the power. The biggest thing about a liter bike is they have insane horsepower to weight and therefore throttle control is required, unlike most bikes on the market. (if you own one you will know what I鈥檓 saying). The power can exceed the grip of the tire or just flip your an your azz if you are not prepared. Also you will be at 130MPH and the bike is still pulling even faster. New riders to these bikes have a tendency to slam them into the backs of other vehicles because they are not used to 130-180mph.

Liter bikes include the GSXR, CBR, ZX10, and R1. I would also recommend the Busa. Big guys seem to really like the busa. I have ridden the Busa and really like it. It has all the power and it feels like my GSXR1k with a longer wheel base.

For track use or carving the canyons the busa is better that you might think, but the long wheel base and added weight will haunt you. What I mean is that in corners the Busa is not as good as the other options. For everyday street riding and having fun in the twisties with friends it is a great bike and more comfortable than it looks.

Have fun picking out your new bike.

So assuming you are mature and can think with your head an liter is ok just respect it.
Yes... I am 6'0 and ride a 1552cc cruiser, and when I ride my friends lime green 6r I feel like it is sooooo small. Dont get me wrong, you can ride the hell out of this bike, but I think you should check out bikes that provide longer dimensions to fit your body frame. You may be limited to the larger bikes, however, give some quickness for high end speed and overall fit. Afterall, all these bikes will beat the 6 figure cars 0-60... whats a .5sec for a great fit?

Also, not sure if you already ride, but if not I highly recommend a Motorcycle Safety Class. I took this before I purchased my first bike and it was worth every penny. Also recieved my permit throught the CHP run class. All I had to to was take the written to get the California M1.
fit on fine
hey i can ride that like nothing and i am only 5'3, you should look into anything over 1000 ,r1's are nice even a 929 but remember because of you size a 600 will be too smalll due to the weight and specially if you thinking of picking girls on it and learn how to ride before you buy a new bike you dont want to crash a new bike i have been riding for 12 years and i have seen even the best get hurt or die street bikes are not a toy and people usually dont have any respect for us specially if you a girl guys think you wont go down if they start to play games while you riding and the power in a street bike can be crazy usually at 2nd shift im allready doing 30 to 40 i love the speed but i also know how to pace myself first rule dont ever be a follower do what you think you can do and look im still alive after 12 years just be carefull
I'm a tall guy and I don't fit right on any sport bike. My knees come up to the bulge in the fuel tank. Because of that bulge, I can't tuck my knees in close enough and they catch the wind
like "hydro sails". Uncomfortable on the groin muscles. Sit on some bikes and see how they feel. I prefer endruo and "standard" bikes.
2005 Kawasaki ZRX1200
Cruiser bikes - the seats are to low. Unsteady at slow speeds when I have to put my feet down (like at stops & lights).
Like I said, go to some shops and sit on the bikes to see what feels comfortable.
the bike is too small for you. Try a BMW or a Moto Guzzi. If you have a chin-on-the-tank sports bike you could well hurt your back.
I think it all depends on how he feels I have a friend that is about 5'5" and rides an cbr 1000rr and loves it I ride a r1 and i am 5'11" so its all on how comfortable he feels
