Ok, teens- what do you like to do on the weekend? I feel so out of the loop, now that I'm in my 30s!? |
I used to hang out at the mall, take long bike rides with friends, hang out at their house- or have them all at mine, I used to play ball in the street. Is it all the same, nowadays? It seems to me that most teens I know are on myspace, or whatnot on the computer. Tell me it isn't true! :) no kids still like to go out and have fun. that could be going to friends houses to hang out or going to parties. sometimes teens go to movies. theres isnt as much playing ball in the street i dont think but there is still some. illegal activities like drinking and smoking seem to be popular things to do for 'fun'. the mall is also popular. just hanging out with friends would probably be one of the most common though. or at least where im from. we get drunk at parties, go to concerts, and get stoned EDIT: and ooh yeah we all document it in pictures on myspace Man...sorry to disappoint you. But yeah, waaaay too many teens spend their days chatting online or playing with their myspaces or whatever. People still do hang out at the mall Ive noticed, but not me. I make a point to live my life low-tech just because I like it so much better. You make better friends, keep them longer, etc etc. I love to ride my bike though. Anyways, yeah thats it. Sorry man... peace YA - DUH!!! I'm 14, and my personal favorites are going to the mall (you got that one :D), going to the movie theatres, except we don't even see a movie we hang in the lobby. You're right, I go on the computer a lot, and all of my friends have MySpaces. I hang out at my friends house when it's a big group, not just one person, unless it's my boyfriend. My friends and I share each other's iPods at school, text message each other, burn CD's for each other, e-mail each other, anything electronic. As for playing ball in the street, I'd say about the only excercising thing is to go to my school's football games with a ton of people than have an after party!! same old same old mall, pool, beach, parties, i still like to go to the mall and have fun i like to go to my friends houses and throw parties at mine and not all teens are such geeks to where they have to go to a bar to be cool and you can still have fun with your gfs if you want its all up to you just do what you like to do :) |
