Whose fault is this? |
Ok so I am walking on the street listening to my IPOD and I am obviously not paying 100% attention to whats going on. Plus I got a huge headache from waking up and took an advil so I totally feel like a computer. This guy is riding on his bike and crashed into me(to his defense I doubt he saw me) but still what the hell is he doing on a pedestrian walkway in the first place. Anyway I decide to play it cool and keep walking even though he was close to breaking my arm if he wasnt going a few miles more. So he catches up to me and asks are u all right? I sarcastically respond: Yeah my arm aint broke I am fine. I either mistook his intentions or he realized its all cool and decided to push me a little so he rudely said: How about asking me if i am all right? U should watch where u are f...ing going. I got pissed and told him that he should be lucky I am not American otherwise I would charge him. He muttered something and rode off. So is this crap in any way my fault or he is just insane? I would say 70-30 his fault. You should really pay more attention when walking along listening to an ipod, it annoys me when you have to take avoiding action to miss some ipodite. But then again heshould notbe riding on the pavement. He was lucky you did not knock him out. many a time i have contemplated "clotheslining" amad cyclist on the path. As yet I have not but...........watch this space. lol woww.. interesting its like both of ur pplz faults...because he as a biker should be watching where hes going to and you as a pedestrian should also watch out what or whos coming at you. even though you had a headache you should be really careful abt where ur walkin at... mite not be the best answer you choose buh yea dats wuh i feel =/ I agree. You BOTH should really pay more attention to your surroundings! You are lucky neither of you got hurt. So let me get this straight...idiotboy was riding his bicycle on the sidewalk??? He's at fault. Bicycles are vehicles just like cars and motorcycles and should be ridden IN THE ROAD, not on the sidewalk. I'm glad neither of you were injured, be sure you always are aware of your surroundings! 20 plus years and thousands of bicycling miles. In addition to a healthy dose of common friggin' sense He should not have been on a walkway and it's not one bit your fault. I just tend not to argue with people like that because you can't get anywhere. Once I was on the sidewalk walking minding my own bussiness when a man screamed at me: "I got a KID!!!!!" (he was riding a bike with his son as a passenger). I said "that's your lane and pointed to the BIKE LANE. He shouted "I have a Kid"!!!!! These people think the world revolves around them and nothing you say or do will change that so I try to say as little as possible. You had a bad day. and you were not expecting a bike to crash into you. you were as cool as you could be , some would of did and said more than you did, it is all cool .. |
