Where's the best suburb to live in Sydney? How do you get to work in the city? |
We are moving to Sydney and would like to live in an area with a nice vibe but with a good commute to the city. Happy to take bus, train or ride a bike if there is a good route. Don't really want to travel for more than 30-40 minutes. Thinking Eastern Suburbs or inner west but don't really have any preferences yet. Need area to feel safe, have good cafes in walking distance and some peaceful streets. Would be great if you could explain the feel of the area, and explain transport links. Looking forward to your advice! there are lots of suburb in sydney with a very good transportation services,,,, ----ryde area very quiet area but rent is quite expensive bus and train to the city and related suburbs crime very low ----hornsby area very quiet area but rent is quite expensive twice the distance to the city bus and train crime very low ----parramata area a little bit crowded compare to the two area less expensive in rent bus and train to the city and parramatta is also a city have everything you want crime is in median terms---multi culture area ------bankstown area a little bit crowded area rent same as parramatta area half a distance closer to the city compare to parramatta bus and train to the city crime a little bit higher cause by multi culturism --------blacktown area more crowded than bankstown or parramatta area rent cheaper than the two train to the city crime higher than two---milti culturism twice the distance to the city compare to bankstown --------north shore area very very expensive area very close to the city and opera house by bus or train very very low crime well to do people lives there very flashy area --------liverpool area very far to the city by bus or train rent is cheaper multi culturism crime rate is median only i lve in ryde area for 4 years very good place at the moment i live in parramatta for the last 10 years all i can say im happy no problem for me i live in blacktown for 5 years cant say any thing bad from my experience just a few that i cracked some head other than that it is good i live in bankstown area too for 5 years found it is ok to live there good experience just a few that i cracked some kneecaps other than that it is good place hope it helps |
