What are your ideas for a perfect Egyptian city? |
I am not talking about a Utopia .I am thinking of a perfect Egyptian city that has all the good qualities of Egyptian life that we love in addition to all the things that we love in Western cities; wide streets, cleanliness. Let's imagine this: You have an unlimited area of land , an endless amount of money and complete freedom to apply whatever system you wish. What things do you want to have ? For example; Places of worship for the three religions ? No places of worship ? And for the infrastructure ; multiple-storey building? or houses and villas ? Should it have a prison? Should the houses by similar or different? Should cars be allowed in this city ?Or just bikes ? Or carts ? As for the system, do u want it to be free of all kinds of descrimination; i.e complete freedom? Let's brainstorm. briefly , there is no city in Egypt is exactly like what you said , even not near but sure you can find all that in Egypt , but not in one city if you found a city like west , so its far and away from perfect and real Egypt , and vice verse Source(s): i'm egyptian i think Egypt is a very beautiful country. I have seen it in the discovery channel and i am really fascinated.Of course the western cities are more cleaned and more organized.Its will be a perfect blend if the two cultures are mixed together. well it doesn't have to be perfect, but people need to be taught how to be clean, follow the rules and of productivity. You can build roads and buildings and etc. but won't help much if the people are dirty and not civilized. I am not trying to be mean, but imagine if you take all the Egyptians to live in Paris and took all the French to live in Egypt, Egypt will be clean and Paris will become dirty. People need to change their bad habits. I think we should have evreything in this city that fulfills and satisfies all of its residence. Houses or whatever should be built to suit our environment, inspired by the environment, like the old farmers did long time ago but with modern tech. The materials should be from Egyptian soil and made by Egyptian hands, whenever possible. The Schools will teach no hatred to no one, no discrimination, no racism. schools will teach History as it should be, so as we know who we are, and where are we going, and what we want to be, it will teach us who is our enemy and who shall we be friends with. Not according to political or idealogical or religuous point of view but with very objective view, so that children will know by themselves who's the enemy! Sure it will be freedom for all! who hates freedom? except the naturally born slaves? i am dreaming of a good position so that i can hire every unemployed in a job!!even those street boys who r bothering poor Egyptian girls walking in the street in maady!!& rapping kids in the trains!!& those desperate house wives who r sitting at homes searching the internet!!!!!if we can hyre these, may be 85% of the problems will be solved!!you know!!they can work from homes!!but only if they want!!i don't know!!if they r happy like this!!or they need to improve!!if i were in a good position i would do so many things!!but i am not!!i am just dreaming!! I think for any country to be a better place it would need an efficient disciplinary system. Of course this system in Egypt needs a lot of improvement. Countries which are clean, where people follow the rules and know their rights have a strict system whereby culprits who break the rules are punished on the spot. This is just human nature that for things to go right, you have a system which enforces laws and rules. If the system is absent for so long, things tend to get chaotic. |
