I have a lower back injury and I desperately need an exercise,is a stationary bike good?walking hurts?
I also have an ankle disability so I am very limited to the exercises that I am capable of doing. I have seen great results doing the bike at least three days a week for a minimum of 30 minutes. There is a stationary bike where it looks just like a bike, but I find it is less pressure on my ankle (and probably for your bike) if u can find a bike where it is like a bucket seat where when you sit, your legs extended are parallel to the floor. Otherwise, there are workouts called Sit and be Fit, where u can do everything in a chair. Or there's Shapely Secrets in Seven, where it only takes 7 minutes a day and you do motionless exercises. The only other thing I could recommend is researching exercises for your specific disability, as I did. Good luck! a recumbent bike is good because it takes pressure off your lower back...concentrate on stretching exercises
