Which is better a 4-5 mile walk or 1/2 hour a stationary bike?
Depends on how fast you are peddling. The newer stationary bikes have built in things that measure how many miles you have ridden. That is what will make the difference. As long as you are going to same amount of miles or more on the bike, they are both fine! Walk. It involves many more muscle groups. Happy Health. 4 to 5 miles walk in a fresh air is all ways better than 1/2 hour stationary bike especially indoors. Even indoor walking is better than stationary bike.
