Do pedometers work with stationary bikes? |
Do pedometers work with stationary bikes? No. The movement is very different from walking... they should work as long as they are attached to your hip or hooked on your pants, because as you move the pedometer moves, counting your steps. im not sure if thats what you're asking, but hopefully i helped It might work but I'm not sure what you would be measuring. you could get the cat eye velo-5 computer and it will measure ur speed, distance, time and such. or spend a little more and get the one with the calorie counter. No a pedometer will not measure anything useful whilst you are on a stationary bike. What you should consider is buying a "speedometer"(made for the job) for your contraption(if possible). |
