ok if i walk 2 miles do 25 minutes of stationary bike and 5 minutes of rowing then do a few weight machines. I do this every other day and on the bike my heart rate reaches around 165. Should I be doing this every day instead of every other day alternating weights as well?
I recommend walking and going on the stationary bike everyday, but you should only do rowing and weight lifting every other day because it's healthier for your body. You see, when you build muscle your muscle tears, so you need to give your body rest in order for it to repair itself and that usually takes 24 hours. If you do weight training everyday, then you will never see any progress and may end up hurting yourself in the long run. I don't know but from the way you type it sounds like you might need to do it everyday, twice a day!
