Fitness First. exercising with weights, how best to go about it? |
My husband bought me a stationary bike, a power bike, a treadmill and a gym set. I often argue its best for me at 266 pounds to start easy and build up tolerance to do the exercises at increasing pace. but he tells me I should start at an extreme pace. I am afraid if I start at the pace he suggests, I'd stop exercising altogether! Tell me which pace is best! When I haven't been exercising for awhile and start back up again, I generally push myself to the limit. It really depends on your body. For your dailey routine, do small repetitions until your body says Stop on each exercise- weights, sit-ups, push ups, biking, etc....each with the same concept. Listen to your body because you don't want to hurt yourself. Alternate working on your arms and then on your legs so you won't stress the whole body at a time and that generally wont wear you out so fast either. Do as much as you can for how ever long you can and continue building on it everyday. Don't forget to breathe and drink lots of water! To figure out the pace that is best for you, you must pay attention to you body. if you really want to lose your weight don't worry.exercise daily with some hard workouts, drink fresh jucies.if you want more details visit the below website. http://clix.to/fatburn The best is if you start little by little cuz if not you're gonne get that horrible pain(I myself consider it GOOD) and all the muscles sore... So take it easy and run a lot ... Presumably your objective is to lose weight. Whether you are in good cardiovascular condition or not (other than the weight), you are best served by going at a pace you can continue for a LONG time. Fat burning is best accomplished at relatively slow speeds. Yes, its time consuming, but two hours at a slow speed is far more effective than 30 minutes as hard as you can. Interval and threshold training has its place, but it doesn't sound like you are training for a sport that requires it. You are correct that you need to build up fitness gradually. On the other hand, he may know that you are in better shape than you think, and is just encouraging you not to be timid about it. |
