How far did I ride? |
I ride a stationary bike and usually just set time goals instead of distance goals because the bike doesn't keep track of distance. So what you estimate my distance is if I rode for 30 minutes with an average speed of 8.2? Thanks. Miles Per Hour is basically Miles divided by Hours. This can go for any units of time and distance as long as they match Distance / Time. Be consistent with units or you will get a very unrealistic answer. 30 minutes = 1/2 hour (0.5 hours) 8.2 Miles Per Hour = Miles / Hours Fill in the variables 8.2 Miles Per Hour = x / 0.5 Solves for X. Multiply 0.5. 0.5 (8.2) = x 4.1 = x 4.1 Miles Say it again! .5 times 8.2 Get a calculator. Although, riding indoor is fake. Too easy. No hills, nor wind. Nor cars to smash you off the road. didnt you listen in math class? if you mean 8.2 mph... then simple math would tell me you rode about 4.1 miles! there isn't enough information. we would need to know how far you go in a minute. errg. i think. sorry. 8.2 what? feet/sec Miles/hour.... It's kind of something you need to know to answer this question. If it was mph then about 4.1 miles |
