I cant' lose weight.? |
For the last few months I have been eating extremely healthy (staying in the 1000-1300 calorie range) No soda, no fast food, no junk food, I drink 8 glasses of water a day, etc. I have been going for a 30 minute walk every day, a long with riding on my stationary bike and doing strength training. I have only lost 2 pounds, and only 1 in off my waist, which is my main problem area. Now I know weight loss takes time, but I've been doing this for over 6 months, and seen almost no results. I have tried increasing my exercise to a 1 hour walk every day, and 30 minutes on the exercise bike but nothing happened. I have no idea what to do. I have a 32in waist, and my stomach is very flabby. Any idea on what I can do? I have tried almost everything and feel like I'm just about to give up. Maybe the only way out is to just stop eating altogether. Any advice? PLEASE DON'T QUIT! I would really suggest doing more strenuous exercises, change your walk to a light jog (it doesn't have to be 30 min) Imagine jogging everyday in combination with your diet! Try Increasing the level on the exercise bike Watch out when it comes to strength training, do light weights with more repetitions. If you do heavy weights you will build muscle mass which will keep you from dropping a lot of weight. [It seems like you have the determination to become a female body builder but i highly doubt that's your goal : ) ] You want to sweat! It really looks like you are very disciplined concerning your diet and exercises. Work on your abs to trim up your waist. Once again, Pleeezz don't give up. If none of this works go seek out a personal trainer, it could be just for advice! GOOD LUCK! it sounds like you need more exercise that sounds good what you are doing You don't say how old you are but if you are getting past 35 years of age your metabolism could be slowing down. Or you could have other issues such as water retention or thyroid problems. If I were you I'd go to a doctor to check these things out first. When I had this problem my doctor put me on water pills and since then it has been easier to lose weight. Also the medications you might be taking can interfere with weight loss, so I'd consider that as as a possible reason why you're having trouble losing weight. If you suspect that a medication is preventing you from losing weight, talk to your doctor and see if you can switch to another one. Also you have to change your routine every now and then. The body is very skilled at getting used to a routine and after a while you get less out of the workout. So try something different like swimming or aerobics or something that you haven't done in a long time and switch off every now and then with different activities. Also, try different diets until you find one that works for you. In my case Jenny Craig is the answer. Different diets work for different people so keep trying them, but don't try anything unhealthy. And finally, don't have expectations that are too high. I got down to a certain weight and couldn't get down any more. I was doing everything right and nothing worked. I was a size 8 and should have been happy with that. So take your age and your metabolism into account too. Anyway, good luck! You might want to try a new diet plan like go on atkins or southbeach. They work really well. And instead of a 30 minute walk you might want to try a jog. Then do a light abs workout like yoga or pilates. Someone said detox, which I can agree with. Your problem area is your stomach from what I am reading. Try some Experience by Awareness, you'd be surprised how much belly fat is actually waste, I have used it as well as some of my friends and we have all lost inches from our waste. Also you should try more exercises that target your stomach. I suggest this one DVD that worked for me its called CRUNCH Fat Burning Ab Attack. You can also change up on your workout, sometimes when you do the same thing for to long your body stops reacting to it. Good luck http://www.supplements.awarenesslife.com... |
