For how long should you bikeride to get a good workout? |
not on a stationary bike, but a regular bike outside on streets. thanks Your body doesn't reach cardiovascular thresholds until after 30 minutes. So 30 minutes is the minimum. Anything after 30 minutes is worth the time. 1 hour for a real good one. Just keep riding until you can't ride anymore. Then take a break, and ride back home. 30 min 30 min-1 hr. Depends on how fast you go. If you just leisurly peddle, it will take awhile to get a good workout. If you put some speed into it and add some hills, an hour is about right. You won't get a real good workout unless you push yourself. well it depends if you are going up hill or down hill or just flat areas but if its flat areas i say about 1hr 30mins now up hills and flat areas 1hr then down hill like 3hr because you dont really have to petal |
